Emily Hill fell in love with stories when she was six-years-old and has never looked back. She double majored in English and Fine Arts in undergrad, before attending Hamline University. There, she studied under award winning authors, won the TA Barron Fellowship for excellence in fantasy writing, and graduated with her MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults. Recently, she worked as a professor of Visual and Fine Arts, designing courses focused on the intersection of storytelling and visual arts, before leaving teaching to write full time.
She lives in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with her husband. When not writing, Emily is likely reading, trying new loose-leaf tea, playing strategy board games, or at the ocean.
